Carpinteria High School, in partnership with the community and parents, believes that all students can learn and are capable of being successful in our diverse society. We are committed to providing a quality educational program in a caring, positive environment which promotes self-esteem and mutual respect.
Every 6 years, Carpinteria High School is required to participate in the state accreditation process. Under the guidance of WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges), we are currently conducting our Self-Study. In March of 2012 a group of fellow educators – faculty and administration – will visit CHS to see first-hand what CHS is all about. This self-study and visit will give all stakeholders a chance to celebrate the areas where we excel and to work even harder in those areas where improvement is needed. If you would like to become more involved in the self-study process or have questions, please contact rlindsay@cusd.net or call 684-4107.
